We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic molecular and computational biologist to join the research group of Professor Jim Hughes. The postholder will be involved with developing new methods to develop approaches to understand protein dynamics in chromatin and understand the effect of sequence variation on. An important aspect of this role is to work effectively with both the bench and computational components of the Hughes group. Part of this role will be to help coordinate the generation of data in the molecular arm with the analysis and development of machine learning models and conversely to help validate these models via functional experiments in the molecular laboratory.
