The experimental high-energy physics group at the University of Texas at Austin invites you to apply for a postdoctoral position to participate on the ATLAS experiment. If selected, you will play a leading role in data analysis and searches for physics beyond the standard model during Run 3 of the LHC. You will also participate in our ongoing and exciting detector upgrades for the ATLAS LAr calorimeter readout electronics.

This position is located at UT Austin with frequent international travel to CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. The possibility of being based at CERN long-term (once the position has begun) will be negotiated. A postdoctoral position in plant-pollinator ecology is available, supported by the Jha lab at the University of Texas in Austin and the Ponisio lab at the University of Oregon in Eugene. The postdoc would lead an NSF-funded project investigating how specific plant-pollinator interaction patterns contribute to short-term plant and pollinator reproduction and long-term population persistence in the Madrean Sky Islands.

  • Carry out flow cytometry and transcriptional profiling experiments to test the impact of conditional deficiency of MHC-II in specific HAPC subsets on negative selection and Treg selection throughout the perinatal to juvenile transition (Aims 2a and 3).
