Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
We look to appoint a molecular biologist or biochemist to carry out research on how chemically modified bases affect the structure and function of DNA. The investigations will involve a consideration of the chemistry and enzymology of nucleic acids, protein-DNA interactions, chromatin structure and transcription. This will enable us to gain a deeper understanding of epigenetic regulation in normal and disease states using human, mouse and parasite models.
