The Department of Hematology and Oncology within Emory University’s School of Medicine is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join Dr. Madhav Dhodapkar’s lab. Dr. Dhodapkar serves as the director of the Winship Center for Cancer Immunology and leader of the Cancer Immunology Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute. The lab employs state-of-the-art molecular and cellular biology approaches, including single cell tools and mouse models to better understand and harness the immune system against myeloma. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with flow cytometry and other immunologic techniques. The person hired for this position will work closely with the Dhodapkar group to accelerate the pre-clinical work identifying immune mechanisms and treatments in multiple myeloma. Experience in cancer immunology, molecular biology, and working with mouse models and/or human samples will be prioritized.

The Cardiomyocyte Stem Cell Laboratory at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on human induced pluripotent stem cells. The research is focused on differentiation and applications of cardiomyocytes from stem cells and will be conducted in collaboration with investigators in Emory University, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and Georgia Tech.
