Are you holding PhD degree and looking for Postdoctoral Fellowships? University of California San Francisco, California invites multiple online application for Postdoctoral Fellowships in various research areas. Candidates interested in Postdoctoral Fellowships can check the details and may apply as soon as possible.
1. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Onur Cil, MD, PhD is hiring postdoctoral fellows to join his lab at UCSF. The laboratory’s research focus is disease mechanisms, drug discovery and repurposing. Epithelial diseases is the major focus of the lab including renal, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, pulmonary and ocular conditions. Some examples of the diseases of interest include kidney stones, edema, polycystic kidney disease, hypertension, diarrhea, constipation, inflammatory bowel disease, cystic fibrosis, asthma and dry eye. In addition to mechanistic studies to elucidate disease mechanisms, we perform high-throughput screening of small molecule libraries using cell-based assays developed in the lab, and compound testing and optimization using cellular assays and rodent models.

2. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The post-doctoral position in the lab of Raymond Swanson, Dept. of Neurology, University of California, San Francisco ( https://www.swansonlab.com/index.html). We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join a small, dedicated group with a focus on translational neuroscience. The incumbent will advance research relevant to Parkinson’s disease therapeutics using cell culture, iPSC, and animal models of these disorders. The scholar will lead a research project involving a “gain of function” property of α-synuclein aggregates that presents a novel therapeutic avenue.

3. 02 Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Kapahi Lab at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging is recruiting two Postdoctoral Researchers to lead innovative projects exploring how circadian clocks and nutrient-responsive pathways influence eye and neuronal degeneration. These positions use bioinformatic and systems biology approaches to integrate findings from Drosophila and human data, with a focus on conserved mechanisms in aging and age-related disease. Our lab uses a cross-disciplinary toolkit—genetics, pharmacology, biochemistry, and genomics—to understand how nutrition impacts the biology of aging. Model systems include C. elegans, D. melanogaster, and mammalian cells.
