We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is interested in developing and implementing innovative computational and analytical approaches to study the genetics and epigenetics of cancer from tumor and liquid biopsies. 2. Postdoctoral Position 

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

Fred Hutch Cancer Center has a 5-year Post-Doctoral Research Fellow position available through the Cancer Prevention Program within the Public Health Sciences Division. The position will work under the direction of Dr. Salene Jones. Dr. Jones’ research aims to use psychometrics and measurement science to better assess financial hardship and other social determinants of health (SDOH) primarily in medical populations and within the context of disease prevention. This research program focuses on people with Alzheimer’s disease and their caregivers and people with cancer including hematologic malignancies.

3. Postdoctoral Position 

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The Geoff Hill Lab, in Seattle’s Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center Translational Science & Therapeutics Division, is recruiting a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with expertise in transplant immunology and/or immunotherapy. The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple NIH funded research programs, including studies defining the mechanisms of cancer-specific immunity versus immune escape and pathogen-specific immunity after adoptive cell therapy. There are also active programs defining mechanisms of, and innovative treatment paradigms for immune toxicity (e.g. graft-versus-host disease and cytokine release syndrome) after stem cell transplantation and adoptive cell therapy.

4. Postdoctoral Position 

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

A funded Postdoctoral Fellowship (full-time/fully in-person) is available immediately within The Laboratory for the Study of Metastatic Microenvironments, led by Cyrus Ghajar. The successful candidate will:

  • Build computational algorithms to uncover clonal and phylogenetic relationships between primary breast tumors and their disseminated seeds. This will require innovating approaches to cross-analyze bulk primary tumor sequencing datasets with matched bone marrow single cell sequencing data.
  • Innovate computational approaches to deeply analyze immune microenvironments within the breast and bone marrow, and uncover tumor antigen-specific populations within these tissues.

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to conduct epidemiologic research focused on colorectal cancer multi-omics at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) in Seattle, Washington. The Veatch lab in the Clinical Research Division at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center is recruiting a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with expertise in immunology to lead a project developing novel T cell therapies in solid tumors. The Veatch lab focuses on strategies of enhancing tumor specific T cell responses in cancer patients and mouse models, with a focus on CD4 T cells that orchestrate the immune responses of CD8 T cells, B cells and myeloid cells, with the goal of developing strategies to activate the tumor immune microenvironment that can be readily translated into the clinic.
