University of California, San Francisco, California invites multiple online application for Postdoctoral Fellowships in various research areas. Candidates interested in Postdoctoral Fellowships can check the details and may apply as soon as possible.
1. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
We believe that the single most important aspect of a health policy fellowship is the experience of designing and conducting research projects under the guidance of a dedicated and outstanding mentor. We begin the process of identifying suitable research mentors for each candidate during the application and interview process and make every effort to connect each candidate with a variety of faculty members with similar interests and expertise. We place great emphasis on finding a good match between the fellow and the mentor that includes a common research interest as well as a complementary style that will foster the most productive working relationship.

5. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Wilder Lab is seeking researchers for postdoctoral fellow positions with expertise in the theory of and analytic methods of cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, bioengineering or a related field with experience in gene editing, animal handling and breeding, fluorescence microscopy, and next generation sequencing. As a member of the Wilder Lab, the postdoctoral fellow will develop cell reporter systems and utilize synthetic biology strategies to engineer T cells. Thus, the hire would be using CRISPR-based gene editing, biochemical, and live-cell imaging techniques for in vitro and in vivo analysis of time-of-day effects on immunity and inflammation.

6. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
A postdoctoral position is available for a joint appointment in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology and the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, within Dr. Kole Roybal’s laboratory at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). This position also includes a joint appointment in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, in the laboratory of Drs. Jaehoon Shin and David Wilson at UCSF. The primary goal of this postdoctoral position is to lead the development and application of new engineered T cell imaging techniques and cell-based radioisotope therapy. We recently developed a novel method for tracking activated engineered T cells using imaging, which can be directly applied to radioisotope therapy.

7. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Postdoctoral position is available to study the genomics of leiomyoma formation (uterine tumors, fibroids) and non-invasive diagnostics. The laboratory utilizes transgenic animals that model Med12 mutation, known to associate with 70% of human leiomyomas to study origin of leiomyomas, genomic rearrangements, epigenomics and cell types. Moreover, the laboratory is also analyzing human leiomyomas for cellular heterogeneity and non-invasive diagnostics. The laboratory utilizes molecular and cellular biological techniques, whole exome and genome sequencing, chromosomal microarrays, CRISPR generated humanized mouse animal models, and targeted knockouts. The candidate will also be exposed to human and animal experimentation.

8. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Postdoctoral position is available to study the genomics and OMICs of recurrent pregnancy loss. The candidate will participate in the recruitment of clinical cases, collaboration with other clinics, whole genome sequencing, single cell sequencing, environmental exposures and data interpretation and incorporation with metabolomics measurements. The goal is to primarily understand genomic determinants and develop molecular signatures that predict pregnancy loss.
