2. Postdoctoral Position in fluid mechanics

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

Non-Newtonian fluids are all around us in nature and industry (from biological fluids to avalanches). Complex fluids flow often more irregularly than simple fluids such as water, and interact very differently with surfaces. MUCUS project funded by European Research Council (ERC) improves understanding and prediction of complex fluids’ flow over surfaces. As part of the ERC project, we announce an experimental postdoc position in wetting and surface-interaction of non-Newtonian fluids, particularly viscoelastic, yield-stress or shear-thinning fluids. This will benefit industries dealing with complex fluids, and in long term contribute to enable improved predictions of natural disasters.
