Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Lee lab is focused on understanding the interaction between different tissue compartments that make up the ocular surface. The unique properties of the ocular surface, in particular the cornea, make it an ideal model for studying stem cell homeostasis, epithelial and stromal wound healing, and peripheral nerve regeneration. Two current projects are: 1) understanding the role of NMDAR in corneal epithelium and nerves and 2) elucidating the organization between schwann cells and endoneurial fibroblasts during nerve regeneration. Our interdisciplinary team leverages a wide range of tools and models to disclose novel findings that apply to other analogous systems.

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
In our laboratory, rare disease research is a starting point to define fundamental biological mechanisms. We also prioritize development of novel therapies for patients with rare monogenic diseases. This includes animal model studies using CRISPR/Cas9 prime editing, and our development of new technologies to study rare mutations in disease. We have discovered several new mechanisms of autoimmunity, antiviral immunity, neurodegeneration, and autoinflammation. We have 2 new R01s as well as private funding to support multiple postdocs. In the last year, we have papers published in Cell and Nature Communications. We have numerous, unique animal models available in the laboratory.

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Carman Li Lab studies hereditary cancers, with a special focus on those driven by germline mutations in the tumor suppressor genes, BRCA1/2. The lab is recruiting postdoctoral fellows to investigate the molecular mechanisms and intervention strategies for BRCA1 hereditary breast cancer. The fellows will lead their independent research projects using advanced genetically engineered mouse models, 3D organoid cultures, single-cell omics, patient sample analyses, and other approaches.

8. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The functions of this position will include: development of targeted lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations specifically for in vivo use, and performing all required quality controls, and most critically, developing new techniques to both large scale produce mRNA and targeted LNP. They will be required to develop their own assays and methods, troubleshoot these methods, and analyze the data to determine the next steps in development.

9. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Integrative Immunology and Cell Design Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania is recruiting postdoctoral fellows to join our growing and dynamic team. Our research integrates high-throughput T cell antigen discovery (TScan-I, TScan-II, TCR-MAP), single-cell genomics, and synthetic biology to unravel how T cells recognize and respond to self and foreign antigens in autoimmunity, cancer, and infectious diseases. We have pioneered genome-scale antigen discovery platforms (Cell 2019, Cell 2023, Nature Biotechnology 2024) that have illuminated key antigenic drivers of immune responses. Building on this foundation, we seek to expand these platforms and couple them with advanced immunogenomic and proteomic tools to comprehensively map the antigenic landscape of B and T cells.
