We are looking for a PhD student immediately or by appointment for the project “Accompanying research for curriculum development at the Medical Faculty of the University of Zurich”. Summary of PhD Program:
We use signal-processing techniques to develop biomarkers that can quickly and reliably detect epileptic activity in intracranial EEG (iEEG) recordings of epilepsy patients. In particular, High-Frequency Oscillations (HFO) are being validated as promising biomarkers to guide epilepsy therapy. The research group offers advanced, interdisciplinary PhD training and participation in cutting-edge clinical neuroscience and neuroinformatics research projects together with Prof. Giacomo Indiveri and Prof. Johannes Sarnthein.
