Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Dr. Amanda Lea at Vanderbilt University is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to work on questions at the interface of evolutionary anthropology and genomics. Work in the lab uses genomic tools to study human evolution, biology, and health. This work is done in partnership with subsistence-level human populations that are currently transitioning to more urban and market-integrated lifestyles, with a focus on how urban exposure across the life course impacts gene regulatory variation and physiology. A complementary focus of the lab is using massively parallel reporter assays to understand causal molecular relationships.

8. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Lovly laboratory at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is a translational research team focused on understanding and developing improved therapeutic strategies for clinically relevant molecular subsets of lung cancer. Our overarching goal is to accelerate discoveries and develop new treatment paradigms for patients with lung cancer. We utilize cutting edge single cell genomic and proteomic techniques to understand the role of genomic and non-genomic factors which mediate drug response and resistance. Key projects are focused on identifying mediators of intrinsic and acquired resistance to targeted therapies in lung cancer, deciphering structural, biochemical, and molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis of tumor associated mutations, utilizing cell free DNA to monitor the evolution of lung cancer, and characterizing the genomics and immune contexture of small cell lung cancer.
