Are you holding PhD degree and looking for Postdoctoral Fellowships? Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, Washington invites multiple online application for Postdoctoral Fellowships in various research areas. Candidates interested in Postdoctoral Fellowships can check the details and may apply as soon as possible.
1. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
This position will focus on leveraging mouse models, human pluripotent stem cells, and engineered vascular models combined with single cell technologies and computational approaches to study the dynamics of normal developmental hematopoiesis and the prenatal origins of pediatric leukemias. The position will provide opportunities to advance translational applications in the areas of gene and cellular therapies and disease modeling, and for collaborations with colleagues in UW Genome Sciences and Bioengineering.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
2. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Post-Doctoral Fellow will contribute to the Lab’s research agenda with a focus on the identification of tumor microenvironmental factors that dictate success or failure to immune checkpoint blockade. This project will involve single cell sequencing experiments and subsequent data analysis. The project will also involve the use of novel mouse models of lung cancer that rely on cigarette smoke exposure in mice to generate lung adenocarcinomas with a high mutational spectral burden. The fellow will conduct independent and collaborative research resulting in presentations and publications.

3. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Geoff Hill Lab, in Seattle’s Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center Translational Science & Therapeutics Division, is recruiting a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with expertise in transplant immunology and/or immunotherapy. The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple NIH funded research programs, including studies defining the mechanisms of cancer-specific immunity versus immune escape and pathogen-specific immunity after adoptive cell therapy. There are also active programs defining mechanisms of, and innovative treatment paradigms for immune toxicity (e.g. graft-versus-host disease and cytokine release syndrome) after stem cell transplantation and adoptive cell therapy.

4. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Leek group is committed to being a welcoming place to all students, postdocs, faculty, and collaborators (see our Code of Conduct). We work together on projects, share credit liberally, encourage and support each other, and try to solve problems that make the world a better place. We have hired economists, computer scientists, geneticists, biologists, social workers, and everything in between. We have hired people with everything from GED level education to postdoctoral level education and all are treated equally as team contributors.

5. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Lampe and Lastwika Labs at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center have a joint opening for Postdoctoral Fellows interested in translating autoantibodies produced by B lymphocytes into tumor diagnostic and therapeutic agents. Our labs integrate state-of-the-art methods from biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, and immunology to isolate tumor-specific autoantibodies directly from cancer patients. A major focus of our joint work is to study how B cells and the autoantibodies they produce recognize and target tumor antigens. We’ve demonstrated tumor-specific autoantibodies can be excellent biomarkers of lung tumorigenesis and can be detected prior to diagnosis (see our recent publications in AJCCRM 2019, JNM 2022, Cancers 2023 and STM 2023, PUBMED#’s 30422669, 35483965, 37444527, 36630482).
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
6. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The fellow will learn and apply cutting-edge biochemical and single-molecule assays to track interactions of single human proteins and ribosomes with single mRNAs in vitro. To do so, they will use biochemical, molecular biology, and biophysical approaches and necessary computational methods to analyze data. The fellow will present their work at group meetings and conferences and write up their work for publication. Secondary responsibilities include mentoring graduate students and research technicians and contributing positively to the lab community and intellectual environment.

7. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
A post-doctoral research fellow position is available in the Hatch Lab in the Basic Sciences Division. We study the structure and dynamics of the human nuclear envelope, with a primary interest in why and how nuclear membranes rupture and repair, and how defects in nuclear membrane stability impact cancer development (Gunn, Yashchenko, and Hatch, bioRxiv, 2023, DiPeso et al., bioRxiv, 2023, Mammel, Gunn, and Hatch, LSA, 2021; Maciejowski and Hatch, Ann Rev Cell Dev Biol, 2020). The Hatch lab uses a variety of techniques to achieve these goals with a focus on microscopy, automated image analysis, and cell-based tool development.

8. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Lapointe and Subramaniam labs (Basic Sciences Division, Fred Hutch) are hiring a joint Postdoctoral Fellow. The fellow will develop and apply state-of-the-art molecular recording assays to study protein-nucleic acid interactions occurring during mRNA translation at the single molecule and genome-wide level. The goal of the project is to examine how RNA-binding proteins search for their binding sites within mRNAs, and once bound, how they redistribute ribosomes along the bound mRNA. The ideal candidate will leverage the complementary expertise of our groups to apply in vitro single-molecule spectroscopy approaches and massively parallel reporter and CRISPR screening assays in cells.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
9. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Hahn laboratory in the Division of Basic Sciences has an immediate opening for a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to investigate mechanisms of transcriptional regulation. The lab uses multidisciplinary approaches to investigate fundamental mechanisms of gene regulation. Examples of potential research topics that build upon our recent published studies include investigating mechanisms and specificity of transcription activators, repressors, and chromatin regulators; probing the roles and cooperativity of transcription factors in orchestrating genome-wide expression; mechanisms associated with transcriptional bursting.
