Summary of PhD Program:
At the Department of Law, a Ph.D. fellowship will be available as of 1 January 2024 or by further agreement. The place of work is at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense. Your Ph.D. project must contribute to the research within one (or several) of the institute’s four research groups and must be relevant to the future employers of our students. The project must be within one or several of the fundamental areas of law or in the cross field between law and economics. We are particularly interested in candidates within private law, tax law, administrative law and constitutional law.

2. Fully Funded PhD Position in Functional Proteomics and Cell Signalling
Summary of PhD Program:
The position is financed by a grant from the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The funded project aims at building knowledge on key regulators involved in cellular fate determination of adult stem cells. The chosen candidate will develop and apply mass spectrometry-based quantitative approaches to decipher the composition of the multi-protein complexes formed on these decisive regulators, and will further characterize their involvement in driving stem cell differentiation. The PhD student will also contribute to various teaching activities at the department and to the supervision of undergraduate students.

Summary of PhD Program:
The successful candidate will conduct research in behavioral economics and will be involved in a research project on Decision-Making under Uncertainty. The research project will investigate how behavioral factors, such as emotions, affective states, cognitive abilities, personalities, social preferences, culture, influence decisions under risk and uncertainty. 5. Fully Funded PhD Position in environmental and climate impacts of media habits
Summary of PhD Program:
The aim of the SCC project is to develop new ways of explaining and illustrating which impacts media habits have on the climate and environment as well as new ways of communicating these challenges. Through a media ethnographical perspective, the project relies on explorative methods, such as observations of and dialogues with citizens (media users) in order to co-create knowledge and sustainable consumption/habit changes. The PhD position is a part of the new SDU Climate Cluster (SCC) Elite centre SOLEN, which aims to design, develop, and bring forward new sustainable solar energy conversion and storage technologies using a strong cross-disciplinary approach.
