Under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, the post-doc will provide individual, and group therapy from a short-term therapy model, conduct intake evaluations, crisis assessment and intervention, and provide outreach programs and consultation to the campus community.

The placenta is critical for the establishment and maintenance of pregnancy, yet the molecular mechanisms governing its development are poorly understood. The overall goal of this postdoc position is to identify not only the networks of genes controlling important processes during placental development, but also the cis-regulatory and epigenetic mechanisms by which the genes are regulated. The project will combine cutting-edge multi-omics approaches with robust computational analysis and molecular follow up in mouse models and human placental cell culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mouse genetics and epigenetics, with a desire to learn functional genomic techniques and run bioinformatics pipelines. The candidate should also have a commitment to becoming an independent scientist.
