Are you holding PhD degree and looking for Postdoctoral Fellowships? National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, Maryland invites multiple online application for Postdoctoral Fellowships in various research areas. Candidates interested in Postdoctoral Fellowships can check the details and may apply as soon as possible.
1. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Multiple post-doctoral positions are available with Dr. Lisa Boxer in the Laboratory of Genome Integrity to study chromatin regulation of neuronal development. The Boxer lab uses molecular and genomic approaches to study how mutations in chromatin regulators disrupt neuronal gene expression and lead to neurodevelopmental disorders and cancer.
Dr. Boxer is part of a highly integrated, interactive and collaborative research environment that provides an ideal training and mentoring setting for young scientists. Her research group will be adjacent to the laboratories of Branch Chief Andre Nussenzweig, Senior Investigators Eros Lazzerini Denchi and Avinash Bhandoola, and Stadtman Investigator Sergio Ruiz Macias.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
2. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
A postdoctoral position is available at the Genomic Stability and Metabolism group (PI: Urbain Weyemi, Ph.D.) within the Developmental Therapeutics Branch, CCR, NCI in Bethesda Maryland, starting November 2024. Our group aims to understand the dialogue between genomic instability and redox metabolism in cancer. We apply genomics and metabolomics tools to assess redox vulnerabilities in cancer cells. Our goal is to understand how cancer cells sense oxidative stress and overcome treatment with chemotherapeutic drugs targeting DNA damage response.

3. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Our lab studies the molecular mechanisms that govern centrosome and centriole assembly in human cells. We explore how centrosome-assembly steps are coordinated with other cell cycle events and how that coordination is perturbed in pathologies. We are keenly interested in elucidating the role of Polo-like kinase 1 in centriole maturation and centrosome copy control and in understanding how centrosomes and centrosome-associated processes go awry in cancer. Our experimental approaches range from cutting-edge microscopy (light and electron), high-content transcriptomics, and biochemical and molecular biology to proteomics.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
4. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
One postdoctoral position is immediately available with Dr. Andre Nussenzweig in the Laboratory of Genome Integrity, Center for Cancer Research (CCR), National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study the mechanisms involved in DNA double-strand break repair, with a focus on understanding the influence of chromatin structure on the maintenance of genome integrity and their roles in a variety of cancers and neurodevelopmental disorders using cutting-edge cellular, molecular, and genomic tools.
