We have immediate availability for postdoctoral associate researchers in experimental particle physics on the CMS experiment at Rutgers University. Our group, led by Profs. John Paul Chou, Yuri Gershtein, Eva Halkiadakis, Amit Lath, Sunil Somalwar, and Scott Thomas, has major involvement in physics, software, and hardware of the CMS experiment. We collaborate closely with our particle theorist colleagues at Rutgers. Under the direction of Dr. Qi Yang, the Postdoctoral Associate(s) will be responsible for the performance and analysis of experiments focused on development and function of novel immune cells. Our research focuses on development and function of novel innate immune cells in vital tissues such as the lung and the brain. We explore components of innate immunity in tissues, and how the interaction between immune and non-immune cells influences the disease outcome of airway and brain disorders (JACI. 2020. 145 (5): 1469, J Exp Med. 2020. 217 (4)).
