5. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The newly established Coon lab is NIH-funded and provides ample research space atop OMRF’s research tower. We are studying the physiological relationship between vascular biomechanics and homeostasis, and how the disruption of these regulatory circuits contributes to vascular diseases such malformations, inflammatory vasculopathies, and dementia. We are multidisciplinary and welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds. Select applicants will be invited to discuss how their scientific interests and technical strengths might tie-in with our ongoing projects. We are currently working on two new mouse genetic models of vascular malformations, endothelial plasticity, and hemodynamic signaling pathways controlling vascular remodeling.
