Summary of PhD Program:
In this project we aim to develop graph deep learning methods that model spatial-temporal brain dynamics for accurate and interpretable detection of neurodegenerative diseases. Electroencephalography (EEG) has emerged as a non-invasive and economical alternative technique for studying neurological disorders. However, current approaches rely primarily on single-channel or pairwise connectivity analysis, focused on selected electrodes or brain regions.

2. Fully Funded PhD Position in Metabolic Risk Factors and Post-Partum Depression: A UK Biobank Population-Based Cohort Study
Summary of PhD Program:
A recent population-based cohort study demonstrated that high glucose and triglycerides levels are associated with an increased risk of depression whereas high HDL-C levels are associated with reduced risk. While research has assessed these associations in women with PPD, studies are limited due to small sample sizes and short-term follow-up assessment. Understanding the impact of metabolic factors on PPD may help to identify risk profiles early so targeted prevention and support can be offered.
