1. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Department of Immunology at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer & Research Institute is seeking a candidate for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Brian Ruffell, PhD to study the role of immune cells in regulating response to therapy, as well as develop novel immunotherapeutic approaches.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
2. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Amelio Lab applies an interdisciplinary approach that integrates use of bioinformatics, drug and CRISPR screens, novel mouse models, and biologic light-based tools to study tumorigenesis in vitro and in vivo. This position will focus on tumor heterogeneity and drug tolerance and is related to two recent publications by the lab in Cell Reports (Musicant et al) and Oral Oncology (Parag-Sharma et al). Our laboratory is currently funded by grants awarded from the National Institutes of Health.

3. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Oskarsson laboratory studies the molecular interactions between cancer cells and the microenvironment in metastasis and in response to therapeutic intervention. The molecular context generated by the metastatic microenvironment evolves with progression of the disease and is an important determinant of cancer cell fitness. Our objective is to dissect both cellular and extracellular matrix (ECM) components of the microenvironment in metastasis. The group has shown how stress signals induced by chemotherapy can promote the induction of specific ECM components resulting in generation of a metastatic niche that can limit therapeutic efficacy (Insua-Rodriguez et al EMBO Molecular Medicine 2018).
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
4. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Teng Lab (https://tengmx.github.io) in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Moffitt Cancer Center focuses on computational and statistical method development to process, annotate and interpret cutting-edge omics datasets with the mission to understand human diseases such as cancers. The Lab is well-funded by NIH with the following data-driven research topics currently: statistical learning of spatial omics datasets; deep learning of enhancer function in gene regulation; computational modeling of DNA mutation combinatorial effects; machine learning of clonal hematopoiesis risks. The Lab is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to lead research projects on these topics.

5. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Postdoc position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Dorina Avram in the Department of Immunology at the Moffitt Cancer Center to study immune dysregulation in cancer. We use genetically engineered mouse models and patient-derived samples, along with multiomics approaches with the ultimate goal to harness the immune responses for cancer therapies.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
6. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The research interest of the lab is to study the structures, regulation, and therapeutic targeting of p53 tumor suppressor pathway for cancer treatment. Ongoing work involves development of novel PROTACs, targeting of temperature-sensitive mutant p53, transcription potential of mutant p53, MDMX regulation of Wnt signaling.

This position will focus on the effects of biophysical changes in the tumor microenvironment on tumor immune dynamics. Our laboratory is currently funded by grants awarded from the National Institutes of Health.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
8. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Jiang Lab (https://lab.moffitt.org/jiang/ ) in the Department of Molecular Oncology is now recruiting postdoctoral fellows. Research in our lab sits at the interface of redox biology, metabolism and signaling, and focuses on understanding the role of antioxidant systems in cancer therapy resistance. We combine frontier molecular, genomic, proteomic, and metabolic approaches to address these questions.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
9. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The research in Dr. Wan’s lab is focused on protein post-translational modifications, including ubiquitination, acetylation, methylation, and phosphorylation. We are interested in understanding how these modifications are misregulated in tumor cells, tumor-infiltrating immune cells, and tumor-interacting stroma cells. We are also interested in developing next-generation techniques to characterize these modifications. Our current projects include the multifaceted roles of ITCH in melanoma and the melanoma immune microenvironment, the context-dependent functions of master cell cycle regulator APC/C in breast cancer and ovarian cancer, the crosstalk between tumor cell aneuploidy and innate immunity, and several others.
