Dr. Sen is a Professor and her lab aims to achieve a systematic and comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms of phenotypic plasticity, therapeutic resistance, and immune escape mechanisms in human malignancies with a primary focus on lung cancer. This postdoctoral position is dedicated to studying autophagy functions in glia for breast cancer brain metastasis. The Wang laboratory also focuses on the functions and mechanisms of selective autophagy and lipid metabolisms in neural stem cells, microglia, and astrocytes. The lab developed novel genetically engineered mouse models to study roles of autophagy genes in brain developmental and in progress of breast cancer brain metastasis.
