1. Fully Funded PhD Position in Power Electronics
Summary of PhD Program:
As a Doctoral Researcher you will first develop and test the modulation methods in a simulation environment such as Matlab. In a second step, the methods will be implemented in a hardware-in-the-loop simulator. Finally, they will be run on a low-voltage lab prototype. The results will be disseminated in scientific peer-reviewed journals, international conferences, doctoral network events and events with industry.

Summary of PhD Program:
The applicants selected in the positions will pursue a doctoral degree in one of the doctoral programs of Faculty of Social Sciences at the Tampere University. The expected duration of full-time studies is four years. Fixed-term employment contracts may be drawn up for a period of six months to four years; the length of the contract depends on the doctoral researcher’s current stage of studies and the expected graduation date. The position is directed primarily to those applicants who have not earlier received funding for doctoral dissertation for four years or more.

We are looking for 9 Doctoral Researchers for the thematic area of FAME Flagship of Advanced Mathematics for Sensing, Imaging and Modelling.
