The applicant should be able to design and fabricate high-power modulated LED and laser sources using printed circuit boards. A strong background in image processing, optics, and astronomical telescope principles is desired. The postdoc will work closely with Prof. Chirayath to advance and test several novel technologies and ideas for remote sensing the ocean floor deeper than ever before.
