10. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

Dr. Wang’s laboratory research aims to gain new knowledge in the evolution of the human genome and the cancer genome using statistical methodologies and machine learning techniques. These two topics are fundamental to the understanding of the initiation, progression, and treatment of human diseases. This position will perform methodological research under either of the two research programs: 1) survival analysis in cancer for risk prediction and clinical decision making; 2) statistical methods for delineating tumor heterogeneity and cancer evolution.

11. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

Dr. Loukia Karacosta’s lab focuses on poorly characterized processes such as epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and aims to dissect how phenotypic plasticity drives the dynamics of drug resistance, therapy response, and subsequent disease progression in the tumor microenvironment as a whole. By leveraging cancer systems biology approaches and single-cell technologies like mass cytometry (CyTOF), multiplexed imaging, live imaging, and computational tools, we aim to interrogate the complex biology and spatiotemporal dynamics of therapy resistance in various cancer systems such as cell lines, patient-derived organoids and longitudinal clinical specimens (solid tumors and liquid biopsies).
