The Ha Lab develops computational approaches to study cancer genomes from tumors and liquid biopsies, such as circulating tumor DNA. Their goals are to uncover mechanisms of treatment resistance, to identify blood-based genetic biomarkers, and to translate these findings to help improve clinical applications. The lab is supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and DoD/CDMRP, including receiving funding from the NIH Director’s New Innovator Award, the Prostate Cancer Foundation, and the V Foundation.

2. Postdoctoral Position 

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The Corey Lab is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral research fellow to work with an interactive collaborative team of scientists investigating molecular and cellular mechanisms of local control of HSV-2 in genital tissue using various cutting-edge technologies. As a part of the Corey lab, Dr. Sholukh’s research is focused on multifaceted analysis and characterization of humoral immune response to viral infections and vaccines with particular emphasis on recently discovered (Ford & Sholukh et al., J. Clin. Invest. 2021) novel class of B cells, skin-resident antibody-secreting cells (ASCs), and their role in forming of local virus immune control. The mission of the Corey Lab is to make discoveries that lead to development of herpes virus vaccine and novel immunotherapies of viral infections including HIV.

5. Postdoctoral Position 

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The successful applicant will participate in supervised clinical training on infections in immunocompromised hosts and engage in clinical research with one of our internationally recognized faculty mentors. The individual would participate in our Fred Hutch outpatient infectious disease clinic as well as the immunocompromised host infectious disease inpatient ID consult services. Fred Hutch provides a challenging academic and supportive multi-disciplinary research environment, and the fellow will be able to take full advantage of training, education, and mentorship opportunities offered through Fred Hutch. The training includes attending micro rounds, journal club, infectious disease clinical care conferences and workshops, and opportunities for experience in antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention specific to these populations.

The Fong lab is seeking a highly qualified and motivated postdoctoral fellow to work in a collaborative environment leading research on the mechanisms of cancer immunotherapy response and resistance. The focus of our lab is to unravel the dynamic interactions governing the generation of anti-tumor immunity and apply this knowledge toward developing novel approaches for the study and treatment of cancer.
