The Physics Department provides: (1) High quality Physics instruction to the University community through courses in introductory physics; (2) educational opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students in physics through high quality curricula, faculty, and research facilities; (3) outreach programs that advance scientific knowledge. 3. Postdoctoral Position 

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The Extension Scholar (1.0 FTE) in the Department of Agricultural and Human Sciences at NC State University to support project management and activities. The individual will be responsible for providing organization and programmatic oversight for the project occurring in the 10 previously identified counties; managing four Community Fellows located in county clusters; coordinating evaluation efforts (working with the Project Evaluator); leading communication efforts at the county level including development of key messaging through social media and news stories; and overseeing communication with project participants and stakeholders. The Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to perform a primary role in microbial genome assemblies and comparative genomic studies from plant pathogen samples isolated in North Carolina field trials.
