Are you holding PhD degree and looking for Postdoctoral Fellowships? Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, Washington invites multiple online application for Postdoctoral Fellowships in various research areas. Candidates interested in Postdoctoral Fellowships can check the details and may apply as soon as possible.

1. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

A post-doctoral research fellow position is available in the Hatch Lab in the Basic Sciences Division. We study the structure and dynamics of the human nuclear envelope, with a primary interest in why and how nuclear membranes rupture and repair, and how defects in nuclear membrane stability impact cancer development (Gunn, Yashchenko, and Hatch, bioRxiv, 2023, DiPeso et al., bioRxiv, 2023, Mammel, Gunn, and Hatch, LSA, 2021; Maciejowski and Hatch, Ann Rev Cell Dev Biol, 2020). The Hatch lab uses a variety of techniques to achieve these goals with a focus on microscopy, automated image analysis, and cell-based tool development.

2. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The Adeyemi lab is interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms of genome maintenance – how the DNA repair machinery is deployed in response to different types of cellular insults, how these processes are dysregulated during genetic diseases, infections, aging and cancer, and how such knowledge can potentially be exploited toward novel therapies. We employ a variety of cutting-edge approaches from CRISPR and barcoded ORF library screens, to various biochemical and molecular biology techniques.

3. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The Post-Doctoral Fellow will contribute to the Lab’s research agenda with a focus on the identification of tumor microenvironmental factors that dictate success or failure to immune checkpoint blockade. This project will involve single cell sequencing experiments and subsequent data analysis. The project will also involve the use of novel mouse models of lung cancer that rely on cigarette smoke exposure in mice to generate lung adenocarcinomas with a high mutational spectral burden. The fellow will conduct independent and collaborative research resulting in presentations and publications.

4. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The Stamatatos Lab is a leader in HIV translational research, focusing specifically on the development and evaluation of both preclinical and clinical cutting-edge vaccination approaches against existing and emerging viral pathogens. We are experts in immunogen-design, protein and mRNA-based immunization modalities, structural biology and B cell immunology. Currently, our immunogens are being evaluated in the clinic in association and close collaboration with the HVTN (HIV Vaccines Trials Network) at the Fred Hutch. Our work has made significant strides in the HIV field and has direct clinical impact. We are looking for a candidate that shares our devotion to developing novel vaccine strategies and eliminating viral diseases.

5. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The Leek group is committed to being a welcoming place to all students, postdocs, faculty, and collaborators (see our Code of Conduct). We work together on projects, share credit liberally, encourage and support each other, and try to solve problems that make the world a better place. We have hired economists, computer scientists, geneticists, biologists, social workers, and everything in between. We have hired people with everything from GED level education to postdoctoral level education and all are treated equally as team contributors. We support flexible work arrangements, remote work, and are committed to work-life balance in everything we do. We believe excellence is defined broadly and want to encourage people to build on their personal strengths and learn new things.

9. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The Hahn laboratory in the Division of Basic Sciences has an immediate opening for a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to investigate mechanisms of transcriptional regulation. The lab uses multidisciplinary approaches to investigate fundamental mechanisms of gene regulation. Examples of potential research topics that build upon our recent published studies include investigating mechanisms and specificity of transcription activators, repressors, and chromatin regulators; probing the roles and cooperativity of transcription factors in orchestrating genome-wide expression; mechanisms associated with transcriptional bursting. A wide variety of approaches are used in the laboratory including molecular genetics, genomics, biochemistry, high throughput screening, computational biology and single cell RNA-seq. The precise topic of the research project will be determined jointly with the candidate.
