1. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
This position offers an opportunity to work in the NIH-funded lab of Dr. H.G. Munshi. As demonstrated by their recent publications (Cancer Res, 2024; Mol Cancer Ther, 2024; BMC Cancer 2024; CMGH 2024), the Munshi Lab has a strong translational emphasis and expertise in orthotopic and transgenic mouse models and routinely employs ex vivo acinar-to-ductal metaplasia, organoid, and slice cultures of human pancreatic tumors in their studies. The Department and the Lurie Cancer Center offer a nurturing environment for career development, a stimulating community of cancer researchers, and weekly conferences and seminars of interest.

2. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Northwestern University’s Neurodevelopmental Diversity Laboratory, directed by Dr. Molly Losh is seeking a postdoctoral scholar to join their research team. The lab’s projects focus on understanding language-related features of autism, and studying how autism-related traits can express in the general population and across related genetic conditions, to help us to understand gene-brain-behavior connections. This postdoc position will have opportunities to work on research across several NIH-funded research projects, which focus on studying autism and genetically-related phenotypes such as fragile X syndrome, FMR1 premutation, and the broad autism phenotype using clinical, behavioral, neural, computational, data science, and cross-population approaches.

4. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Postdoctoral positions are open in the Xi (Dawn) Chen Research Group in biomedical engineering. The successful candidates will develop innovative approaches focused on, but not limited to: 1) high-throughput aberration sensing and correction to enhance multiphoton imaging in live animal models (K99/R00), 2) high-content quantitative imaging screening methods for organoids, and 3) applying these new tools to address biological questions in fields such as neuroscience, cancer, and immunology. These roles involve integrating optical engineering, computational algorithms, and machine learning techniques to optimize imaging performance and facilitate groundbreaking biological research. The start time can be any time after June 1st, 2025.

5. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
The Department of Neurological Surgery at Northwestern University is seeking an outstanding postdoctoral scholar in neuroscience and neuroengineering for a research opportunity studying language and cognition with neuroengineering and intracranial electrophysiology in the laboratory of Dr. Jason Hsieh, located on the beautiful Chicago campus. We apply advanced computational and machine learning methods to attempt to better understand the neurophysiological bases of human language and cognition, with the use of intracranial electrode recordings and functional MRI. The candidate will also collaborate closely with the laboratory of Dr. Marc Slutzky.
Application Deadline: Open Until Filled
6. Postdoctoral Position
Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:
Postdoctoral positions are available on NIH-funded research projects to study how RNA metabolism is dysregulated in cancer by the Borden Lab. Dr. Borden is a professor at the Department of Pharmacology and a member of the Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, located in the center of downtown Chicago.
The focus of the Borden lab is to understand disrupted RNA metabolism in cancer with a focus on acute myeloid leukemia (AML). We are dissecting novel mechanisms related to RNA splicing, nuclear export, and translation and how these contribute to cancer cell biology with a focus on cell motility.
