Are you holding PhD degree and looking for Postdoctoral Fellowships? National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, Maryland invites multiple online application for Postdoctoral Fellowships in various research areas. Candidates interested in Postdoctoral Fellowships can check the details and may apply as soon as possible.

1. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

Multiple post-doctoral positions are available with Dr. Lisa Boxer in the Laboratory of Genome Integrity to study chromatin regulation of neuronal development. The Boxer lab uses molecular and genomic approaches to study how mutations in chromatin regulators disrupt neuronal gene expression and lead to neurodevelopmental disorders and cancer.

Dr. Boxer is part of a highly integrated, interactive and collaborative research environment that provides an ideal training and mentoring setting for young scientists. Her research group will be adjacent to the laboratories of Branch Chief Andre Nussenzweig, Senior Investigators Eros Lazzerini Denchi and Avinash Bhandoola, and Stadtman Investigator Sergio Ruiz Macias.

Application Deadline: Open Until Filled

2. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The position will involve research projects aimed toward understanding nucleic acids as cancer drug targets. The staff scientist is expected to lead independent research projects while also providing training to postdoctoral and postbaccalaureate fellows within the lab on biochemical and biophysical techniques used for characterizing nucleic acid-ligand interactions. The ideal candidate will have a background in nucleic acids chemical biology and surface chemistry, specifically applied to small molecule microarray screening technology, and broad experience in studying small molecules that target RNA.

3. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The Neuro-Oncology Branch (NOB) at the National Cancer Institute’s Center for Cancer Research (CCR) is a specialized program focused on the study and treatment of brain and central nervous system (CNS) tumors. We are seeking an outstanding candidate to join our Molecular and Cell Biology (MCB) Program. This position involves investigating the unique metabolic phenotype and molecular signaling in brain tumors. The research aims to systematically explore epigenetic changes in cancers, characterizing critical epigenetic targets within DNA repair, metabolism, and therapy resistance pathways using genetic and biochemical approaches.

4. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

A biologist position is available with Dr. Lisa Boxer in the Laboratory of Genome Integrity at the CCR, NCI. The Boxer lab uses molecular and genomic approaches to study how mutations in chromatin regulators disrupt neuronal gene expression and lead to neurodevelopmental disorders and cancer. The applicant will oversee the lab’s mouse colony and set up breedings and genotype mice as needed. The applicant should also have significant hands-on experience with molecular and cellular biology techniques such as primary cell culture, nucleic acid manipulations, and protein analysis.

5. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

We are recruiting a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to study the impact of RNA post-transcriptional modifications on gene expression and cell identity. Our laboratory aims to understand, at the molecular level, how interactions between cellular environment and the RNA epitranscriptome impact the RNA-centric regulatory networks that control cell identity, and how disruption of such pathways contribute to: 1) the establishment and proliferation of tumors; and 2) the development of resistance against therapeutic intervention.
