Fred Hutch Cancer Center has a 5-year Post-Doctoral Research Fellow position available through the Cancer Prevention Program within the Public Health Sciences Division. The position will work under the direction of Dr. Salene Jones. Dr. Jones\u2019 research aims to use psychometrics and measurement science to better assess financial hardship and other social determinants of health (SDOH) primarily in medical populations and within the context of disease prevention. This research program focuses on people with Alzheimer\u2019s disease and their caregivers and people with cancer including hematologic malignancies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Geoff Hill Lab, in Seattle\u2019s Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center Translational Science & Therapeutics Division, is recruiting a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with expertise in transplant immunology and\/or immunotherapy. The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple NIH funded research programs, including studies defining the mechanisms of cancer-specific immunity versus immune escape and pathogen-specific immunity after adoptive cell therapy. There are also active programs defining mechanisms of, and innovative treatment paradigms for immune toxicity (e.g. graft-versus-host disease and cytokine release syndrome) after stem cell transplantation and adoptive cell therapy.<\/span><\/p>\n
