These doctoral researcher positions are primarily intended for doctoral researchers working as professionals in healthcare with the degree of Licentiate of Medicine, Licentiate of Dentistry or Master of Health Sciences. The multiscale models involve molecular dynamics simulations to gain detailed atomic trajectories of the investigated molecular and materials systems, quantum-chemical calculations of the instantaneous atomic configurations to create a time series of spin Hamiltonians for the spins of the NMR nuclei and unpaired electrons, and finally spin dynamics simulations to propagate in time the density matrix of the combined spin system.<\/span><\/p>\n Apply now<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The position is supported by the doctoral pilot programme Innovative Doctoral Education Ecosystem for Photonics (I-DEEP), which is coordinated by Tampere University and gathers all Finnish universities with research activities in light-based technologies. As a doctoral researcher you will be part of a multidisciplinary research group and work on studying and designing new types of single-molecule magnets utilizing computational and theoretical methods. In addition, the project will involve the development of computational methodology utilizing high-level quantum chemical methods as well as the development of theoretical models.
