We study processes within lymphocytes and those outside (in the immune microenvironment) that drive the development of lymphoid malignancies including B- and T- cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and lymphomas. We apply this to develop therapies that specifically target malignant lymphocytes. Research in our lab spans Hematology, Oncology, and Immuno-Oncology. <\/span><\/p>\n The Postdoctoral Fellow who joins the team will lead a project focused on specifically targeting diseased immune subsets in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and indolent lymphomas. The Fellow will perform experiments using transgenic and transplantation mouse models of lymphoproliferative diseases, primary cells from patients, humanized mice, gene editing, classical molecular, cell biology, and biochemistry, and single cell sequencing approaches.
