The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field research, design and perform statistical analyses, and co-author reports and peer-reviewed journal papers. The candidate will have experience and skills in developing protocols for quantitative research methods including autonomous IEQ instrumentation, internet of things, complex dataset analyses, numerical modellings, scientific communication, recruitment and management of study participants in the specific research context of this project. The University of Sydney is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Molecular Neurobiology to join a new research initiative between the Nanophotonics and Plasmonics Advancement Lab (NPAL), part of the Institute of Photonics and Optical Science (IPOS), School of Physics, the Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) and the Neely Lab, School of Life and Environmental Sciences, at the University of Sydney, in the area of molecular neurobiology, particularly in stem cells and gene editing with applications in neurophotonics. The successful candidate will conduct research using conventional and proprietary stem cells protocol (Dr Anai Gonzalez Cordero) to differentiate them into individual peripheral neurons after editing their DNA with conventional techniques like CRISPR. <\/span><\/p>\n
