16. Postdoctoral Position

Summary of Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The Allison and Weinacht Labs at Stony Brook University seek a postdoctoral research associate to work on a collaborative effort in excited-state molecular dynamics. The successful applicant will perform ultrafast spectroscopy experiments on identically prepared gas-phase molecules and clusters using both time-resolved VUV photoelectron/photino spectroscopy (TRPES) and broadband cavity-enhanced transient absorption spectroscopy (CE-TAS). The postdoc will also work closely with the theoretical research groups of Prof. Ben Levine (Stony Brook) and Prof. Spiridoula Matsika (Temple Univ.) to make direct comparisons of experimental observables with observables calculated using ab initio methods.
