About Masters Degree in Advanced Mechanical Engineering at Cranfield University, England
The Advanced Mechanical Engineering MSc is designed to prepare you for a successful mechanical engineering career leading large, complex projects.
You will learn state-of-the-art mechanical engineering methods, apply them to real world problems via industrially focused modules and research projects, whilst gaining the essential management skills to bring your ideas to life.

Who is it for?
This course is designed for engineering, physics or mathematics graduates who wish to develop a successful mechanical engineering career in industry, government or research.
It will equip you with the advanced engineering and management skills demanded by leading global employers, including project management, design, computer-aided engineering, operation and optimisation of machinery, structural mechanics and integrity, and technology leadership.
Your career
The Advanced Mechanical Engineering MSc is designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge and expertise required to develop a successful mechanical engineering career in the sector of your choice, including energy and power, aerospace, automotive and manufacturing.
Our focus is on ensuring that you can make an impact from day one in your career. We do this by teaching you the state-of-the-art skills in mechanical engineering, enabling you to apply what you learn through industrially relevant group and individual research projects and equipping you with technology leadership skills.
Entry requirements
A first or second class UK Honours degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, physics or an engineering discipline. Other recognised professional qualifications or several years relevant industrial experience may be accepted as equivalent; subject to approval by the Course Director.
Applicants who do not fulfill the standard entry requirements can apply for the Pre-master’s course, successful completion of which will qualify them for entry to this course for a second year of study.

British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM
Cranfield University, in partnership with the British Council, is proud to join the Women in STEM Scholarship initiative by offering five fully funded scholarships for female students from Turkey. Apply online before the deadline of 31 March 2022.
Scholarships worth £10,825 (full fees) toward the course tuition fee for exceptional students wishing to study an Energy and Power MSc.
We have a limited number of scholarships available for candidates from around the world. Scholarships are awarded to applicants who show both aptitude and ability for the subject they are applying.
The Santander Scholarship at Cranfield University is worth £4,000 towards tuition fees for full-time Master’s courses. The scholarship is open to female students from the UK.

Institution of Mechanical Engineers Postgraduate Masters Scholarship
IMechE is offering a number of postgraduate research Scholarships worth up to £6,500 to graduates with a 2:1 honours IMechE accredited BEng (Hons) degree to allow them to undertake an IMechE accredited Master’s degree.
IGEM Postgraduate Masters Scholarship
The Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers (IGEM) is offering postgraduate Master’s Scholarships worth £6,500 to those studying an Engineering Council accredited degree.
The Royal Aeronautical Society offer Centennial Scholarships for those studying an accredited course.
Lendwise Postgraduate Student Loan
The Lendwise Postgraduate Student Loan provides tuition fee and maintenance loans of between £5,000 and £100,000 for eligible applicants studying at Cranfield University.
Scottish Power Masters Scholarship
The scholarship covers tuition fees and living costs for postgraduate students in engineering, renewable energy, environmental science, cyber security and related fields.
