Eligibility
Apply for a UT scholarship separately from the application for admission to the University of Twente. Admission to a program must be secured first.
Receive (provisional) admission to one of the qualifying UT Master’s programs starting in the academic year 2024/2025 (September). Note that it may take up to 8 weeks after applying for results.

Have not completed a graduate program at the University of Twente.
Fulfill the conditions for obtaining a visa to study in the Netherlands (if applicable).
Meet the general English language proficiency requirement of Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) with an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the speaking skills subscore.
Be ineligible for a Dutch study loan.
Demonstrate academic excellence, typically ranking within the top 5 to 10 percent of your class.
Scholarship Value
The UTS scholarship value ranges from €3,000 to €22,000 for one year of study. For two-year study programs, students may receive an additional UTS scholarship equal to the amount awarded in the first year, provided they meet the UTS renewal requirements.
